Yesterday, in my roleplay radio newscast on CJOB 68 in Winnipeg using the Winnipeg, Manitoba free press from Saturday August 26, 2000---one student, Michael Bazylewski, bought a TI-83 graphing calculator from Staples at a whopping $129.95 in canadian money. A Casio model graphing calculator had a price of $69.95. In using that newspaper article, I decided to compare prices for the Norton High School supply list I got from the school website.
