The Norton Parks & Recreation Events & Programs Round-Up is a place to find out the latest happenings with Norton Parks & Rec.
Welcome to our first blog post! Today, we have two fun & exciting things to tell you about: 1st is Slugger Wiffle Ball program, coming up in the spring... & 2nd is the Snowflake Social on Friday, March 1.
Slugger Wiffle Ball
Registration is underway for Slugger Wiffle Ball, a fun 7-week instructional program, where everyone plays and everyone wins, sponsored by Norton Parks & Rec. Here's all the info you need to get involved:
Who: Slugger is for 4-year-old boys and girls. Your child(ren) must be born between 5/1/08-4/30/09 to play on a Slugger team. (For insurance/liability reasons, we cannot accept applicants younger than this. Boys and girls older than this age range are eligible to play in various NYBS divisions.)
When: The program runs Saturday mornings 5/4-6/22/13 (excluding 5/25). Games are at 9AM and 10AM (schedule is yet to be determined).
Where: Everett Leonard Park (6 Parker St, Norton)
How: To register your child, go to the NYBS website (https://www.nortonbaseballsoftball.org/eregister.php). Space is limited so register now!
Cost: $45/child (NYBS is donating all proceeds to Norton Parks & Recreation / Everett Leonard Pool)
Also, if you are a parent interested in coaching, please contact Sheri Cohen at (617) 688-4454 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
