Wheaton Selected For NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll
Lyons work with Heller's Angels highlighted by NCAA
The Wheaton College women's basketball team's partnership with the Heller's Angels Special Olympics Team has been chosen for this month's NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll. To vote for the Lyons and the Heller's Angels clickhere.
Voting runs through Tuesday, Dec. 25 with the winner receiving $500 dollars towards its next Special Olympics event. The winning story will also be recognized in the NCAA Division III Monthly Newsletter and the NCAA Division III Special Olympics website.
Wheaton's story can be found by clicking here. The Lyons will host the Heller's Angels basketball team on Friday, Dec. 7 against Babson College in Emerson Gymnasium. The Heller's Angels team will play a game at halftime during the Lyons matchup with the Beavers and will also be treated to a pizza party after the contest.
The Ursinus College men's basketball team and the University of St. Catherine Wildcat SAAC are the other two programs that have been chosen for the NCAA Division III Special Olympics Spotlight Poll this month.
