While unfortunately the Norton girls track & field team lost to Medfield 76-60, the boys won the TVL Championship 83-53.
"We got them where we needed it, where we were consistant all year," said coach Kent Taylor. "It was pretty special today. This is the first time in Norton track history that we've won a Tri-Valley championship."
The boys are 8-0 and will next compete at the MSTCA Freshman/Sophomore Meet 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Westwood High School. They will then go up against Millis May 8 for the chance secure the title of undefeated champions for themselves.
