Titans Lacrosse Finishes Up Another Successful Season

Season ends with jamboree and cook-out.

 

The Tri-Boro Titans youth lacrosse season officially winds up this weekend.

The boys teams traveling to Ft. Devens in Ayer for a jamboree where each team will play three games in one day. The girls jamboree will be held at King Philip High School with several towns coming together to showcase their programs. On Sunday, all teams will come together at Horton Field in Attleboro for an in-house jamboree followed by a cook-out.

The youth lacrosse program is made up of boys and girls from Attleboro, North Attleboro and Norton. The boys program has three teams at the U-15 and U-13 level, two teams at the U-11 level and one team at the U-9 level. The girls program consists of six teams spread out between U-15, U-13 and U-11.

 “The Titans do a great job providing a fun and exciting lacrosse program for kids with all levels of skills and abilities,” said coach Kevin Weber in a press release. “Led by president Tom Sheerin and the rest of the volunteer coaches and parents, Tri-Boro Titans lacrosse is growing in size and popularity.”

Norton's participation has increased up to about 40 players this season.

 The jamboree features approximately 100 teams from across the state playing on 15 different fields for an exciting day of lacrosse.
