Norton Police Make Nitrous Oxide Bust

Several New York residents arrested after Phish concert at Comcast Center.

On Wednesday, at 12:30 a.m. encountered five males to the rear of supermarket that attended the Phish concert at the in Mansfield.

 Upon further investigation it was determined that the operator of the vehicle, Thomas Bamberger, 31, of Queens, N.Y., had an active arrest warrant from the Attleboro District Court for trespassing. Inside the vehicle, officers discovered three large nitrous oxide bottles, several plastic balloons and a large amount of cash. The other occupants of the vehicle were identified as Kieran Walsh, 30, of New York, Frank Riccardo, 30, of New York, Paul Corsello, 22, of New York and Mario Santoro, 21, of New York.

 All five were placed under arrest by Patrolman Kevin Schleicher Jr., assisted by Patrolman Christopher McCarthy, Patrolman Rachael Samuelson and Sergeant Stephen Desfosses.

 Corsello, Santoro, Riccardo, Walsh, and Bamberger are all being charged with possession of toxic vapors (nitrous oxide).

 Bamberger was held without bail, due to the outstanding arrest warrant, while the others were released. All appeared in Attleboro District Court June 8.
