Norton native Timmy Brown recently moved to Florida to follow his dreams of becoming a country music star and is already making a splash at Disney Hollywood Studios where he auditioned for the American Idol Experience.

The show allowed him to sing to a live audience and the chance to win a ticket that will allow him to go to the front of any audition line for next season’s American Idol.

“I will be going back and also auditioning for ‘Idol’ this summer for next season no matter what,” Brown said. “It is just a good experience and helps me with learning all the staging and helps me with learning how to perform on a big stage.”

Brown has performed at many events in and around Norton such as at Norton High School's athletic events, First Night, Festival of Lights, McCoy Stadium and more.
