The MIAA released its postseason state tournament brackets on Friday. The Norton boys' basketball team was named the fifth seed in the Division 3 South Bracket. 

The Lancers will face the winner of No. 12 Abington vs No. 21 Canton at Norton High School on Feb. 27 at 7:00 p.m.

Last year, No. 11 Westwood defeated No. 6 Norton in an upset, 54-50, in the first round of the MIAA Divsion 3 South Sectional basketball tournament.

The Lancers finished the 2012-2013 season as Tri-Valley League champions with a record of 14-4 in league play and 15-4 overall.
