Lincoln Street Fire in Norton Police Log: June 25 - 26

The following information was supplied by Norton Police Department. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.

 

Monday, June 25
2:37 a.m.: E. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. Caller reports motor vehicle off the roadway into ditch, no injury.
11:16 a.m.: Freeman Street, general services. Wires down. National Grid advised.
12:10 p.m.: Lincoln Street, burglar alarm. Neighbor reports smoke coming from residence. Fire discovered, contained to kitchen and extinguished.
12:46 p.m.: Young Avenue, fraud/embezzlement. Caller reports possible phone scam. She did not give them any info.
9:09 p.m.: Eddy Street, breaking and entering of a residence. Caller to the front desk reporting he arrived home and his residence was broken into. Nothing taken.

Tuesday, June 26
12:10 p.m.: Newland Street, larceny. Metro PCS reports theft from the tree site.
4:50 p.m.: W. Main Street, motor vehicle accident. No injuries.
10:10 p.m.: W. Main Street, assisted State Trooper with motor vehicle stop.
10:48 p.m.: East Street, Mansfield, assisted Mansfield Police Department with report of stolen vehicle. All negative.
