Great Escape: So Glad You're Wine

In this week's "Great Escape" Patch features a wine tasting.

Parents: Between work, kids and all the other commitments you’ve got going on, it can be tough to take some time for yourself. But for those evenings or weekend afternoons when the kids are at basketball practice, spending the day with friends or staying with the grandparents, we’re here to help.

Each week, Norton Patch will tell you about a great idea to give you a well deserved break—whether it’s a fun night out or a quiet way to spend an hour.

This week’s Great Escape is a wine tasting at Swirling Vine, 50 W. Main Street, 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, March 8. Featured wines will be Davis Russian River Valley Chardonnay, Monchhof Mosel Slate Riesling, Man Vintners Cabernet Sauvignon and San Jacopo Chianti Classico.

All wines featured at tastings are 20 percent off.

Don’t feel like going out? Hold a private wine tasting in your home! Call 508-285-3803 for more details.
