Crash at JCS Intersection Results in Minor Injuries

Accident took place at N. Worcester and W. Main Street Feb. 27.

 

Norton Police and Fire Departments responded to a motor vehicle crash involving three vehicles at the intersection of N. Worcester Street and W. Main Street Wednesday afternoon. 

A vehicle, operated by Paul Reardon, 65, of Raynham, was entering W. Main Street form N. Worcester Street when it struck the passenger side of a vehicle traveling westbound on W. Main Street at about 3:45 p.m. That vehicle was then pushed into the eastbound lane, striking an oncoming vehicle head on. 

One male was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital by the Norton Fire Department for minor injuries. His name was not released by police. No other injuries were reported.

Reardon was cited in the crash.

The accident is under investigation by Patrolman Jesse Winters.

No . . . we don't need a working traffic light here . . . not enough people have been KILLED yet!

I agree that a traffic light is necessary at that intersection, every time I am at that intersection I get nervous that I am going to be hit. Not to mention the school being right there as well. Does anyone know how we can have the town add a traffic light there? What the process is to request one?
