Best Of Winner: Patty's Place

Patty's Place proves itself as a breakfast staple in town.

The results of this week’s Best Of Norton Readers' Choice series are in! This week’s poll garnered 111 votes and 10 comments with Patty’s Place beating out the competition for the Best Breakfast Stop.

DeVincent’s Downtown Cafe commanded a solid second place with five positive reviews and 28 votes, beaten by only two points using the Best Of Reader’s Choice point tabulating system. Uncle Ed’s came in late to the game, but still managed to come away with third place with seven votes and six positive reviews.

“Best breakfast spot in town I've recently had is Uncle Ed's,” said Norton Patch user Danielle in the comments. “Delicious food, cozy atmosphere and not badly priced.”

“Best breakfast I've had is at the Downtown Cafe,” said Robert Greco. “It’s a secret gem on the weekends only. Consistent great food, warm atmosphere!”

And then there’s our winner, Patty’s Place, with 53 votes and five positive reviews.

Patty’s Place is a staple in the community. It is a breakfast and lunch joint just inside the Attleboro line on Old Colony Road. Their specialties are their pancakes and stuffed French toast. Make sure to come early, though; Patty's closes at 1 p.m. daily.

“Great Place! Nice people! Twenty years at Patty's Place for breakfast,” said reader Terri Gary. “Definitely #1 in Norton!”

Patty’s Place will be presented with a certificate at a time and date to be determined.

Tune in Monday to vote for the best place to get your taxes done last minute. And don’t forget to leave a review in our directory to let others know what you think about businesses in town!
