Runner up Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary garnered 16 votes while Norton Reservoir and Norton Kayak Company received 14.

And then there’s our winner, Norton Public Library, with 48 percent of the votes.

"I have been there with my children many times and they have been so fantastic as a staff making every fun and very educational," said Norton Patch Facebook follower Victor Rodriguez. "Congrats NPL, and keep up the fun and great work.

Norton Public Library, which began as the Norton Magazine Club in 1879, became a Massachusetts corporation in 1886. Eliza Wheaton, whose painting adorns the library's meeting room wall, gave the library to the town. Previously located at the intersection of Routes 123 and 140, the library moved to its current location in 1991. The adjacent park opened in 1999.

From now until July 9, the library is selling raffle tickets for $2 each or three for $5 for a Bruins prize pack, which includes a Stanley Cup Champions Bruins hockey puck signed by Daniel Paille with certificate of authenticity, hat, men’s extra large shirt, women’s medium shirt, playoff rally towel, roster photo and two posters.
