1. Today there is a 40 percent chance of showers, with thunderstorms also possible after noon. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 80. Southwest wind will be between 6 and 8 mph. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms. Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind will be between 4 and 7 mph becoming calm.
2. MOMS Club of Norton will host a storytime 10:30 a.m. at Norton Public Library. Kids will get a chance to learn and play, and parents and caregivers can socialize. This event is open to all. No registration is required.
3. A New Moms Group meeting will be held 9 a.m. to noon at Kidz Wurld, 11 Robert Toner Blvd., N. Attleboro. Mothers with children under a year old can connect with each other for free. No reservations are necessary.
