1.) L. G. Nourse Elementary, 38 Plain St., Norton, will host a winter carnival 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This fun filled day will include games of chance, face painting, a cake walk and food. Raffle tickets will be sold for donated prizes from local businesses. There will also be a raffle of assorted gift bags as well as a silent auction. Tickets will be available at the door.
2.) Singer and percussionist Robert Duquette, an adjunct instructor at the University of New England, will perform jazz at EPOCH Assisted Living of Norton, 190 Mansfield Ave., at 3 p.m. Duquette has been an active drummer, percussionist, guitarist and vocalist for 25 years. He has toured nationally and received international airplay with the jazz-folk-eclectic group, Cactus Highway. This performance is free and open to the public. 3.) Paris Cabaret presents “The King And I” at 49 Monk St., Stoughton at 6:30 p.m. This event will include dinner. Cover is $10, and dinners start at $12.95. For Reservations call 781-297- 7469.
