1. There is a 60 percent chance of showers today, mainly before 11 a.m. Patchy fog is also expected. Otherwise, it will be cloudy, with a high near 49. Northwest wind will be around 5 mph becoming calm. There is an 80 percent chance of rain tonight, which may turn into snow. There will be a low of around 34.

2. Join the Swirling Vine at Trinity Restaurant 5 to 8 p.m. for a wine tasting. This event will have 40 wines available to taste by Swirling Vine distributors who will be pouring and talking about the characteristics of the wines. The Swirling Vine is also providing some light appetizers. All featured wines will be 20 percent off.
                                                 
3. Treasure Hunters roadshow will be visiting Holiday Inn, 31 Hampshire St., Mansfield from Dec. 6 to 10. The Treasure Hunters Roadshow has purchased over 200 million dollars of rare, collectible and precious items for the collectors network. All area and state laws, regulation and permits regarding the purchase of items will be followed.

4. The Department of Education and Secondary Education announced that 18,261 students in the Class of 2012 awarded overall. Fifty-five of them are Norton students. For more information and the list of Norton High seniors eligible, click here.

5. Andrea Henry, a comedian from Norton, co-authored a kids joke book with “Last Comic Standing” winner Myq Kaplan. To learn more about her and the book, tune in around 3 p.m.
