1. Today there is a 20 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Otherwise, it will be partly sunny, with a high near 95. Southwest wind will be 5 to 11 mph. Tonight there is a 30 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms, mainly before 11 p.m. It will be mostly cloudy, with a low around 69. New rainfall amounts of less than a tenth of an inch possible except in thunderstorms.

2. Norton’s town pool at Everett Leonard Park, 6 Parker St., is open weekends from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. It is only closed to the public during a rental, which the dates and times for are listed at www.nortonparksandrec.com.

3. Winslow Farm Animal Sanctuary will host Movie Under the Stars with "Alice in Wonderland" (2010). Show starts at dusk. Feel free to come early to visit the animals. Bring your favorite chair or blanket and bug repellent. Refreshments will be available for sale.

4. Attleboro Paranormal Investigation hosts a live studio show onwww.attleboroparanormal.com every Saturday from 7 to 7:30 p.m. on the unknown and interesting paranormal subjects. 5. The Attleboro Farmers Market is open Saturdays in the municipal parking lot on N. Main Street. Hours are 8 a.m. to noon through Oct. 27.
