2. Adult story time
Norton Public Library will host adult story time 1 p.m. Adults are welcome to sit back, relax and enjoy the air conditioning in the community room as you listen to some chilling tales read aloud. Feel free to bring a bag lunch, knitting, crocheting, quilting or any other silent activity to do as you listen.
3. Buckcherry with My Darkest Days & Otherwise
With a new album slated to be released soon, Buckcherry will join My Darkest Days and Otherwise for a rock show at Showcase Live, 23 Patriot Place, Foxborough. Tickets are $30.
4. National Immunization Awareness Month
Sturdy Memorial Hospital announced that August is recognized as National Immunization Awareness Month to increase awareness about immunizations for infants to the elderly. Recommended vaccinations begin soon after birth and continue throughout life. Being aware of vaccination recommendations for infants, children, adolescents, adults of all ages, and seniors is critical to protecting ourselves and our communities from disease.
