LPS Issues Reminder to Hunters in Norton
The Land Preservation Society (LPS) directors would like to remind hunters that the land owned by LPS is private property and we do not allow hunting on our land.
LPS land is open to people for walking, cross-country skiing, bird-watching, picnicking, nature studies and especially for wildlife protection and water resources preservation. We do not allow hunting in our wildlife preserves, such as the Medeiros Family Preserve and Blueberry Knoll Woodlands off So. Washington St. Hunting on LPS land endangers those who use the land for the reasons it is being preserved.
For more information about LPS and a list of other properties, please visit our website:

Hunting is allowed on conservation land that is owned by the town (except for Johnson Acres.) For information about conservation property visit the Town of Norton webpage (http://www.nortonma.org) and click on Conservation in the list of departments.
