Norton High School ranked in the top 50 schools (coming in at 46th) in last year's  MCAS tests.  Students were tested in three categories, English/language arts, mathematics, and science. The rankings were determined by adding the percentages of students scoring "advanced" or "proficient" on each of the three tests. Schools could achieve a top score of 300. Norton High Schools ranking of 272 puts the school in the top 15 percent of the 342 schools included statewide.
