Norton Embracing Educational Development Inc. is sponsoring a Square 1 Art fundraiser. J. C. Solmonese, L. G. Nourse and Henri A. Yelle Ellementary students will receive sticker samples of his or her artwork along with a catalog filled with products they can impose their art on. Order forms will be distributed Jan. 3 and are due back Jan. 10. Products, including stationery, mugs, keychains, aprons, etc. will be delivered at the beginning of February. It is rewarding for the children to see their final artwork turned into memorable keepsakes and gifts.

N.E.E.D. awarded $4,600 for grants last year with hopes of awarding at least $8,000 this year. Past year's grants have included funds for technology, author visits, foreign language programs, science assemblies and anti-bullying programs. With parent's support, N.E.E.D. can continue to award grants for programs like these, as well as many more.
