3rd Annual Haunted Happenings & Fall Festival event returns to the Attleboro YMCA’s Norton Outdoor Center on October 29th

The Attleboro YMCA is pleased to announce the spooky, fun-filled return of Haunted Happenings to the YMCA’s Norton Outdoor Center on October 29th. With fall-themed, family-friendly activities by day and a frightening walk through the dark, haunted woods at night, this community event will have something for everyone. Thanks to the continued support of local businesses and community volunteers, the Fall Festival and Haunted Happenings event grows bigger every year.

From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Saturday, the Fall Festival will feature hayrides, pony rides, animals, games, crafts, bouncy houses, face painting, entertainment, a craft fair, and other fall-themed activities. On Saturday night, the Outdoor Center will open from 7:00 to 9:30 p.m. for Haunted Happenings, including the haunted woods, carnival games, campfire, face painting, bouncy houses and much more. Halloween goers will be charged an entrance fee of $5 per person or $15 per family, which gains them access for all of the day and evening events.

Truly a community event, the Haunted Happenings & Fall Festival event is a joint venture by the YMCA and multiple community partners, including Barrows Insurance, the Norton Lions Club, Norton Fire Department, North Easton Savings Bank, Landmarc Landscaping, and a large team of volunteers. All community organizations and local businesses are welcome to participate.

There are many opportunities to support this great community event through sponsorships, volunteering, and product donation. Anyone interested in contributing to the event as a sponsor or volunteer should contact Mike Zucarelli at (508) 409-0741 or mzucarelli@attleboroymca.org. Local crafters and vendors interested in being a part of the event’s craft fair are encouraged to contact Cyndee Goodinson-Lindsey at (508) 409-0767 or cgoodinsonlindsey@attleboroymca.org.

All proceeds from the event go directly back to the community through the Attleboro YMCA’s annual Best Friends Campaign. Because we believe that everyone in the community deserves the opportunity to be healthy and live well, the Attleboro Y extends our programs, services, and membership to everyone in the community, no matter what their financial circumstances may be. The Best Friends Campaign makes that possible.
